I am so impressed by all your creativity and talent that I want to share it with the world. I hope you like the cards I am going to share but first here is a card that my friend and fellow blogger made – she blogs over at Youcanalwaysstartnow.

I found the next one at Stamp With Sandy I love her use of vintage images, the car is a true classic.

This one was made with my Cricut machine, I love old vintage telephones.
But now the fun begins,  I can’t wait to see what you made, thanks for partying – link is at the very end of the post.

Monthly Challenge January 2018 -Repurposing Vintage Buttons Link Party

Welcome to A Wandaful Thing and my first Vintage Party of 2018.  Thanks to all who have linked up in the past. Hey, if you’re new here, welcome!  I appreciate each and every one of you who continue to come back and hang out with me. I am so impressed by all your creativity and talent that I want to share it with the world. I’m always interested to see what vintage goodies, finds and projects you all have to share but today I want to see what you have created with your vintage buttons.

I will be giving away to one lucky follower one of the things I create with my vintage buttons. Check at the end of this post to find out how you could win my vintage button creation.

I decided to use my Cricut and my Cuttlebug to help with my first creation. I got all these buttons at an auction last year so I had fun picking through them to find the ones I wanted to use.

For my first creation and the one I will be giving away, I decided to make gift tags.  I embossed some plain card-stock with my Cricut Cuttlebug and then using just my Cricut, I cut out some tags (two sizes).  I selected some buttons and glued them on the front and then attached some cotton string to the back.  I like the way they turned out. April Monthly Challenge

April Craft Challenge – make something that includes a kitchen utensil.

Kitchen Utensils Clipart #1Just in case you are new and this is the first you are hearing about this, here’s the scoop. On the Third Monday of every month, Amelia, (she blogs over at You Can Always Start Now) and I do a project or post based on one chosen DIY craft or theme, then we share our results and hopefully have inspired you to join our challenge.

This month was a bit of a challenge for me as I wanted to try to do something really different and unique but in the end I made something using an item that was destined for Goodwill (an old box cheese grater). This item also turned out to be something I actually needed and use daily.

I had left over spray paint from another project and on the warmest day we had thus far – (it was +5), I took my grater and spray paint and went to the great outdoors (ok my patio and only a few steps from the door, but it was still outside lol).

Once it was dry I only spent about 15 minutes hanging some of my favorite pieces of jewelry(the jewelry I wear most often) on my repurposed box cheese grater.

Amelia from You Can Always Start Now  was very creative with some kitchen cutlery. Be sure to check out her post.
