Goodwill Bins Haul: 24 Items for $47 – Resale Value & What I’m Listing

🧺 Cart Confessions: What I Paid vs What It’s Worth

This trip? Straight to the bins.

No racks, no hangers, no “I’ll just browse”—just digging, sorting, and a little bit of chaos at the Goodwill Impact Centre. If you know, you know.

I ended up spending $47.88 for 24 items, which breaks down to about $1.99 per piece.
And honestly… that’s where things start to get interesting.

Here’s what came home with me—what I’m keeping, what I might keep (danger zone), and what’s already heading to my shop.

🛍️ Where These Will Be Listed

Keeping it simple:

  • Vintage items: Poshmark, Etsy, eBay
  • Modern clothing & shoes: Poshmark

✨ What I’m Keeping (Because Obviously)

Some things never stood a chance of being listed:

  • Sorel Winter Boots
  • Polo Assn Backpack
  • Nicole Miller Tank
  • Love Revolution T-shirt
  • Lauren Ralph Lauren Bumble Bee Print Pillowcase
  • Vintage MIA Wedge Sandals
  • Dock & Bay Beach Bag

These were immediate “nope, mine” decisions. No further discussion required.

🤔 Still Deciding… (Send Help)

These are currently sitting in that dangerous middle zone:

  • A gorgeous rag quilt
  • Fansa summer weight sweater
  • Orange crochet throw pillow
  • Sorel suede women’s boots

You know the pile—the one where you tell yourself “I’ll decide later” and then quietly hope no one asks you about it.

☕ Final Thoughts

The bins are always a bit of a gamble—but when it works, it really works.

A mix of keeps, maybes, and solid resale pieces makes this one of those trips that feels worth every minute of digging.

Also, I’m still pretending I’m going to make a rational decision about that rag quilt. Yeah right!
