DIY Easter Bunny Silhouette Wall Art

I tend to get a lot of inspiration from the internet and of course Pinterest but then I like to put my own spin on things. One such item was this adorable bunny silhouette sign, just in time for Spring and Easter.

It would make a wonderful gift and a great display and addition to your spring and Easter decor. This sign is made from pine board that measures 9 x 12 x .75 , painted white then once paint was dry, I used the bunny stencil which I cut with my cricut. I then painted the entire board purple. Once it was completely dry I carefully peeled off the stencil to reveal the white bunny beneath.

A burlap bow and pom-pom complete the look.  This bunny silhouette wall art is now ready to display – to hang on the wall I added a sawtooth picture hanger to the back.

You can make your own for around $10.00

You will need:

1 – 9x 12x .75 pine blank board

1 – Bunny Stencil (if you don’t have a stencil – you can buy at local big box stores)

1 – Pom Pom

1 – Strip of ½ “ burlap for bow

1 – sawtooth picture hanger

2 small bottles of craft paint – colors of your choice

2 foam brushes – one for each color – one for the primary color and one for the outline color

Glue to attach bow

Hammer to attach sawtooth picture hanger
