Everything in this “cozy” basket was purchased at a thrift store. There is a little section at one of my favourite thrift stores that sells handmade items on consignment (at a ridiculously affordable price – ie:  mittens & hair scrunchies). 

What’s in this basket…

What did it cost? *All of the items were thrifted

• $1.00  – Basket
• $1.00 – Socks (new with tags)
• $2.00 – Handmade knit mittens (I know insane price for new mittens)
• $1.00 – Linen made in Italy scarf
• $3.00 – two (new) handmade hair scrunchies
• $3.00 – pierced earrings in black pouch
• $0.50 – unused Christmas Candle

Total = $11.50

A cozy basket filled with socks, a scarf, mittens, earrings, hair scrunchies and a candle would be a wonderful gift for anyone who enjoys staying warm and snug during the colder months!

I lined the basket with the scarf but made sure it was still visible in the back of the basket and then worked my way to the front of the basket. The mittens  and socks were next, with the earrings and hair scrunchies in front and the candle tucked in the middle.

When it is time to give this basket away, I will use a basket cellophane bag, tie with a ribbon and add a bow.
