February is synonymous with being associated with the heart. Here in Canada, the Heart and Stroke Foundation does it’s major fundraising campaign in the month of February. Click here if you are interested in reading more about Heart Month.
I continue to be a supporter and in past years have volunteered as a door to door canvasser. Gosh, nowadays, I think you can do most of it on-line (did I just date myself..???) …
Ever since Mylo the kitty cat joined the family I’ve had to come up with ways to deal with cat hair.
Don’t throw away your used paint rollers – you can use them to pick up pet hair...they don’t even need to be washed, just dry. If I use a cheap paint roller, when I am finished the job, I just throw it out without washing it – NOT ANYMORE!!!
Please welcome my latest “Guest Blogger” Amelia P …..have a read and please feel free to leave comments!!
If you peruse my bookcase you won’t find much fiction, but you will find self-help, spiritual and reference books. Kindles or Kobos are not for me. I like the feel and weight of a book in my hands and on my lap. So when asked to blog, well it was either travel or books. So I thought I’d introduce you, or maybe re-introduce you, to a few friends. I’ll start with Sark.
Sark wants us to find and explore our succulent wild selves!! A few titles of her work are Succulent Wild Woman, The Bodacious Book of Succulence and Living Juicy. Her books are interactive. Asking questions from what are you glad about, to learning about jealousy. A snippet from The Bodacious Book of Succulence “Studying feelings is a way to understand how we operate, where they come from, and how to hold them…….We have the right to our feelings and can practice at letting them flow through us.”
Questions from Sark “Have you every kept a feelings journal? How would you start?”. Check out her web site and books.
