Valentine’s Day Tablescape from Plum Creek Place

Candy (even her name is sweeeeet..)from Plum Creek Place was the first blogger to answer the call of my Frugal Valentine Tablescape Challenge, which was to create a tablescape for $20.00 or under using thrift store, dollar store or already owned items.
Her tablescape(s) are truly amazing and oh so beautiful.
I am so jealous envious of all the fabulous “stuff” she has collected/thrifted over the years.  Candy was even so kind as to list prices for each item used.

Ways to reuse or repurpose mason jars, glass jars and their lids:

There are many websites and loads of pins on Pinterest about how to use and reuse mason and glass jars.  I recently saw one that said “101” ways to reuse mason jars – WOW – and here I was all proud of myself because I use 4 or 5 of these tips to save money..lol

 

Mason jars can be used as drinking glasses (glue a glass candle stick to the bottom and you’ve got yourself a redneck wine glass). You can use them as storage for beans, rice, or any kind of dry good. …

DIY: Painted Antique Metal Heating Vent Grates

These two metal heating vent grates were given to me by a friend who was renovating her house. I am so fortunate that she knows me so well that I was the first person she thought of  and asked if I wanted them.  HECK YES!!!!
