My dear friend and fellow blogger Amelia over at You Can Always Start Now just published a post on twirling and pivoting and doing and enjoying crafts even if they are for kids. She loves to explore all the possibilities. Go over and read her post (linked above) to fully understand why I am sharing this with you. Thank you to all those who made comments or linked into the January Vintage Button Challenge. If you missed January’s Challenge check it out here – the link is not closed so please feel free to add your post at any time. Congrats to Allana, who won the vintage button gift tags!!!
February’s challenge will be to make any occasion greeting card using Vintage or Vintage looking images. The images can be new or “old”, pages from books, vintage sheet music, old vintage valentine cards or free downloadable vintage images. One of my favorite’s is Graphics Fairy -if you subscribe to their newsletter you get one new free vintage image every Friday but the website has tons of free printables, be sure to go check them out.
On the last Monday in February (26th) I will do a link party where you can share your creation – Or , if you prefer you can email a picture to me and I will post it for you.
Here are a few pictures of handmade cards using Vintage images, I hope these help to get the creative ideas flowing….
There are endless ideas for greeting cards, I am looking forward to seeing what you create.

In 2016 I am teaming up with my friend and fellow blogger, Amelia, from the blog You Can Always Start Now, to complete monthly DIY Craft projects/challenges.
We welcome any and all fellow bloggers to join us. On the third Monday of each month we will announce the “item” that must be incorporated into the challenge for the next month/
The item for January is an artist canvas, any size you like and the only limit is your own imagination. Please link up your project below.
On January 18th we will announce the next “craft” item for the February Challenge.
~ Monthly Challenge link up rules ~
1. DIY craft projects only please, featuring the monthly selected crafting item, otherwise it will be deleted. Items for sale must be in tutorial form on your own blog.

3. When you enter your link, you should be linking directly to a particular post, not to your home page.
4. Visit as many of the other linkers as you can. Leave a thoughtful comment when you do visit.
4. By linking up here, you are ok with me featuring you on my blog, Pinterest, Twitter or AWTFacebook with no additional permission required.
