One man’s junk is this woman’s treasure…

In a previous post I talked about my love of garage and yard sales, auctions, thrift stores and the thrill of the hunt searching for my next vintage trinket or treasure.

At almost every yard or garage sale the person selling the goods will have a box of stuff that they don’t think anyone will buy and it is marked “FREE”.

I think the hubs cringes when he realizes I’ve spied that box and make a beeline to inspect.

My Latest Venture…

I love the thrill of the hunt. I always have and I think I always will.

I can shop at thrift stores and go to antique auctions all year, but as soon as I see the first sign of Spring I get excited knowing I’ll soon be spending time scouring garage sale after garage sale looking for vintage items and other trinkets and treasures.

My latest venture includes my selling these vintage items, trinkets and treasures in my Etsy Shop, on Pinterest and on my own FaceBook selling group entitled Wandaful Things, Trinkets and Treasures.

These sort of signs make my heart begin to race and my palms sweat in anticipation of what I might find…

When I think of the word apron, my mind immediately thinks about both of my grandmothers baking in their kitchens, always wearing their aprons.  I’m sure the incredible smells and delicious goodies that came out of those kitchens, inspired my love of cooking and baking and as long as I can remember, I’ve always worn an apron.
