One man’s junk is this woman’s treasure…

In a previous post I talked about my love of garage and yard sales, auctions, thrift stores and the thrill of the hunt searching for my next vintage trinket or treasure.

At almost every yard or garage sale the person selling the goods will have a box of stuff that they don’t think anyone will buy and it is marked “FREE”.

I think the hubs cringes when he realizes I’ve spied that box and make a beeline to inspect.

One of my recent free finds was a ….

vintage bathroom scale. It was pretty dirty and everyone passed it by BUT not me.

I had been looking for a bathroom scale and when I  stepped on it and it worked, I knew that search was over.

It was pretty dirty but with a little elbow grease (maybe at some point I might try painting it) it turned out ok.

The morale of my story is don’t overlook what you think might be junk because it might just end up being your new favorite treasure.

Trash to treasure – It’s A Wandaful Thing!!
