Website & Life Updates

I know it’s been a hot minute since I have done a blog post and I wanted to let you know what’s been going on.

First off you may notice some design changes on the website and on my social media accounts. I had a logo and brand kit created and I am slowly integrating that into all of my platforms.

Want to hear a quick story about how the logo came about?

I have a wonderful friend and fellow blogger (Amelia), you can find her at youcanalwaysstartnow who always gives of herself and her time and we got to chatting about me needing to finally get some consistency and create a logo to use on social media platforms. She asked me a few questions and said she was going to talk to her roommate to come up with some ideas. The next day she texted me a rough sketch of what she was thinking would look good as a logo. It was like she reached in my brain and pulled it right out. I love it.

I worked with a graphic designer from fiverr – sandgeetadesigns (she was fabulous) and voila it’s done. As a HUGE thank-you to Amelia who will be receiving a free Fall Happy Artisan Gift Box – I am sure she will kick and scream and say it’s too much but there is no price I could put on the support, advice and friendship she gives me.

I am also working hard on getting The Fall Happy Artisan Gift Box ready for pre-order on August 01, 2021 – I am working with the same designer to create a lasting logo and brand kit for The Happy Artisan Gift Box.

If you just said what is The Happy Artisan Gift Box? be sure to check it out here.

On top of all of this, I decided to try and sell my little house. What a lot of work…the listing goes live July 31st.

I hope you have a chance to check out Amelia’s website, sandgeetadesigns or The Happy Artisan Gift Box.

Thanks for stopping by!

I am so very Happy and excited to introduce “The Happy Artisan Gift Box ” – What is it exactly you ask? The Happy Artisan Gift Box is a small batch, hand curated, gift box for people who love beautifully made artisan goods, crafted by hand in small towns in Alberta Canada.

It connects the happiness of creating beautiful things with the happiness of receiving them.  Every box is a surprise. The Happy Artisan Gift Box is a curated seasonal gift box. Your box will be a surprise each time and will include quality goods from 5-8 items.  The box supports individual makers and puts money back into families and communities in rural Alberta. The items range from home goods to natural bath and body products, to jewellery and art, to gourmet food and other unique items. There is a focus on products that are consumable and environmentally responsible, and packaging is kept to a minimum for all boxes.

The Happy Artisan combines the delight of a surprise gift with the benefits of shopping locally and the convenience of shopping online. Bonus items are occasionally made available to add on to your box.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this a subscription box?
No not yet, I will be looking at offering that option in the future.

What’s in the box?
Each box contains 5-8 items created by makers in small towns in Alberta. There are different items in each box and it’s designed as a surprise. I won’t post spoilers but I will post pictures of the items and the box contents after the boxes have shipped. I hope you love everything, but gifting items also brings happiness, so feel free to gift away any items that aren’t to your taste.

Can I send a box as a gift?
Happy Artisan boxes make great gifts – for the holidays, birthdays, employee appreciation (those work from home folks deserve some extra recognition!) even ‘just because’ or thank you gifts.

How do you ship?
Local delivery(small fee if delivered within 50kms)- outside of this the box will need to be shipped. Local pickup is available (located in Legal, Alberta). If you’d like your box shipped I use Canada Post. At this time I am only able to ship boxes within Canada.

Who are the artisans? All contributors are selected by me to ensure I am working with a variety of artisans and makers and to ensure a good variety of items go into each box. To meet the artisans be sure to check out their bios.
