Thrifty Treasures Thursday: Unearthing Gems from Secondhand Delights #7

Even with my limited mobility I was able to get out this week to go to two of my favorite thrift stores.  Here is what I found – SPOILER ALERT – 99% of it is Christmas decor and I am not selling ANY of it lol

Welcome back to Thrifty Treasures Thursday, this is Post #7. I am so happy you are here and can’t wait to share with you my latest thrifty finds. I will share what I found, where I found it, how much I spent and what I plan to do with it.

In case you missed it -here is a link to the last thrifty treasures post!

Who remembers these? When I saw it I immediately thought of my grandmother’s Christmas decorations, I think this was always on her Christmas Wreath on the front door. It has a $.075 price tag – oh yeah it came home with me 👏

Next up – wire basket with a wooden handle $2.50 – it has so many possibilites – christmas baubles, coffee pods, fruit, facecloths -what would you use it for?

Santa Claus, oh Santa Claus how I love thee …I have been collecting Santa Claus items for as long as I can remember and well these two SC items caught, not only my eye, but my ❤️

Nightlight was $2.00

Santa holding Christmas Tree (Russ -Moments of Wonder 1990) $3.00

Sleigh bells ring are you listening….these bells are NOT from your local $ store – they are much bigger and I remember them from Zellers or Woolco – $1.50 – they might end up on my apartment door or go into storage for next year.

I couldn’t resist this Festive metal tray – only $0.50 – I plan to use it just the way it is (I say this as I have been known to paint almost every tray I buy ha ha)

Cookbooks for $0.50  each – could you resist?? I have lost count as to how many cookbooks I have. I often grab an old cook book to look up recipes  before I use GOOGLE (if I have the time). I LOVE to sit down and pick a random cookbook and read the recipes.

Oldies but goodies…

I think this small framed Chalkboard for $3.00 will make a great menu board or coffee board – it can be hung on the wall or placed on a desk or table. I may need to use black chalkboard paint to fix that scratch!

Well, that wraps up this Thrifty Treasures Thursday.

I did find a few more items but plan to show you what I did with them when I launch my 2023 -12 Days of Christmas – Trash to Treasure Christmas Decor – STARTS DECEMBER 01, 2023!
