Rustic Farmhouse Sign – Chalk Couture
I’ve been on vacation for the last two weeks with no access to my craft supply – cue the HORROR!!! LOL
I also received an order from Chalk Couture just before I left and had no time to play and make things, so as soon as I got back I felt the urge.
I made this awesome rustic farmhouse sign today using a Chalk Couture transfer. If you are wondering what Chalk Couture is – you can read this post here or visit www.chalkcouture.com/awandafulthing
I had a piece of stained pine leftover from a previous project that just happened to be the perfect size for my farmhouse transfer.
The transfer was brand new right out of the package, so I had to defuzz it (you can learn more about this by checking out this youtube video about the July Club Couture Transfer https://youtu.be/VBlVBNiQT3c)
Here is the piece of pine stained and ready for the transfer.
Here it is with the transfer waiting for some bright white Chalkology paste.
This is another picture of the finished project but in different lighting.
All it needed was a picture hanger on the back, and here it is on the wall.

Is that sea glass I see in that picture frame?
indeed it is but I didn’t make that one but it sure is cute 🙂
How crafty are you? My handwriting is awful and I could never do it justice.. I would love a keepsake box with memories written on the lid. Good luck with your venture.
Thanks Ellen – you seem adventurous I’m sure you could make that memory box no problem.
🙄
Very nice!
Looks great. Just thinking about possibilities and what else was in your package. Maybe do an opening the box post?
That’s a great idea – I will plan on that when my next order arrives 🙂
